Sports Minister meets his Libyan and Tunisian counterparts before the opening of the Mediterranean Games in Algeria

On the sidelines of his attendance at the opening ceremony of the Mediterranean Games in Algeria, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports and Head of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Youth and Sports Ministers met with Abdel Shafie Al-Juwifi, Minister of Sports of the State of Libya, and Kamal Dokish, Tunisian Minister of Youth and Sports, in the presence of Dr. Mokhtar Warda, the Egyptian ambassador to Algeria on Saturday 25 June.


The meeting will show the Egyptian, Tunisian and Libyan preparations to compete in the Mediterranean Games in its 19th edition, which is held in Oran, Algeria wishing success to the players of the Arab teams participating in the tournament. They discussed strengthening cooperation between Egypt, Libya, and Tunisia through expanding the implementation of joint activities and projects in the fields of youth and sports. 


On the other hand, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, in his meeting with the Egyptian ambassador in Algeria, reassured about all arrangements related to the Egyptian mission participating in the Mediterranean Games, and provided all the requirements that the mission needed during its presence in the sisterly Republic of Algeria. He extended thanks and appreciation to the Egyptian ambassador for coordination and fruitful cooperation during the presence of Egyptian teams in Algeria to participate in various continental and international competitions.
