Dr. Ashraf Sobhy congratulates Egypt's karate champions after winning 7 medals in Mediterranean Games

In light of his follow-up to the Egyptian delegation participating in the Mediterranean Games held in Oran, Algeria, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, congratulated the players of the Egyptian Karate team for their distinguished appearance in the tournament’s competitions, as they won 2 gold, 3 Silver and 2 bronze medals.


The Minister of Sports wished success to the rest of the national teams participating in the 19th edition of the Mediterranean Games, and for achieving more medals in the coming days of the session.


The countries competing in the tournament are Albania, Andorra, Bosnia, Croatia, Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Kosovo, Malta, Montenegro, Portugal, North Macedonia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain and Turkey, in addition to Egypt, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia, Syria and the organizer Algeria.


Egypt’s delegation participating with 177 players in 19 games “athletics, badminton, basketball, boxing, fencing, Gymnastics, handball, karate, shooting, tennis, taekwondo, volleyball, archery, judo, sailing, table tennis, weightlifting, wrestling, equestrian.
