Sports Minister honors Handball star Ali Zain

Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, honored the player Ali Zain, the Egyptian handball player, who won the Champions League with the Spanish team Barcelona, ​​and who recently moved to the Romanian club Dinamo Bucharest, among a thousand young men and women, in the events of the second forum to confront rumors and their impact on national security, under the slogan " address with us", to discuss youth between developing awareness and confronting rumors.


That ceremony was attended by Dr. Shawky Allam, the Grand Mufti of Egypt, journalist writer Karam Gabr, head of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation (SCMR), Brigadier Khaled Okasha, director general of the Egyptian Center for Thought and Strategic Studies, Counselor Zain El-Hawary, father of the player Ali Zain, and a group of public and media figures, writers, critics, thinkers, politicians, board chairmen and editors-in-chief Newspapers, members of the House of Representatives and Senate, youth coordination of parties, politicians, and leaders of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. 


Sobhy stressed his happiness in honoring the star of the Egyptian handball team and that he is an ambassador for Egyptian sports in international forums, and he has all the support and appreciation from the Egypt, with all his wishes for success and achieving medals in the Mediterranean Games in Algeria, and the African Nations Championship for Men Handball No. 25, which will be hosted by Egypt during the period from 9-19 next July, with the participation of 14 teams, on Hassan Mustafa halls and the Ministry of Youth and Sports Hall in 6 October City.


Sobhy continued saying that Zain honored the Egyptians, and his achievement is like Mohamed Salah. He is a professional and the championship has a great meaning. There was a lack of coordination from the Handball Association, and I personally communicated with Zain and we strive to honor our shining stars.


Zain added that he seeks to achieve more successes and raise Egypt's name high in various international forums, pointing out that he is preparing well with the team in the Mediterranean tournament in Algeria and the African Nations Cup scheduled to be hold in Egypt. 


Before his move to Dinamo Bucharest, Zain had achieved five historic goals with Barcelona, ​​by winning the Super Cup, the King's Cup, the Spanish League, the Catalonia Supercup and the European Champions League.
