Sports Minister and the Governor of Assiut witness a dialogue meeting with the youth of Assiut Governorate

Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Major General, Essam Saad, Governor of Assiut, witnessed a dialogue meeting with the youth of Assiut Governorate, in the presence of the representatives of the House of Representatives and Senate, governorate's representatives, several Islamic and Christian clergymen from the Egyptian family house and a number of the governorate’s youth.


A discussion took place between the youth and the Minister of Youth and Sports and the Governor of Assiut, where he reviewed the youth’s visions and ambitions for the development of their governorate, as well as the youth centers that were developed within the “HayaKarima” initiative. 83 youth centers are being developed in the first stage, as well as scheduled The second phase of the initiative should include 37 youth centers. 


He thanked Major General Essam Saad, Governor of Assiut, for overcoming all obstacles and providing needs to advance the development process in the governorate. He affirmed his keenness to be constantly with the youth and to conduct field tours to find out the development processes in different governorates, listen to different ideas, and open permanent communication channels. 


He added that the development process in youth centers is great to make them community service centers that provide many activities for Egyptian youth, such as science clubs, employment forums, entrepreneurship training, and small and micro-projects.


Major General Essam Saad, Governor of Assiut, expressed his happiness to be with the Minister of Youth and Sports, who is always keen to listen to the different opinions and ideas of young people to cooperate to advance Egyptian society. He added, "I thank the Minister of Youth and Sports for all his efforts to develop Egyptian youth and sports centers not only in Assiut but in all governorates.
