Sports Minister's assistant receives Samar Hamza at Cairo International Airport

As part of the support that he is keen to provide to all Egyptian athletes, and in appreciation of their achievements in various tournaments, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, delegated his assistant, Dr. Abdel Awal Mohamed, to receive the Egyptian wrestling champion, Samar Hamza, upon her arrival at Cairo International Airport from Serbia.


Samar Hamza won the silver medal in the World Wrestling Championship in Serbia in the weight of 76 kg, as the first Egyptian player to win a silver medal in the history of the world wrestling championships.


Dr. Ashraf made contact with Samar Hamza - via video conferencing - after her arrival, where he congratulated her on her achievement and her honorable appearance in the various stages of the World Championship competitions, wishing her success in the upcoming tournaments and winning more titles.
