Youth Ministry and Al-Azhar sign a cooperation protocol to enhance religious and national identity among young generation

Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Dawiny, Undersecretary of Al-Azhar, signed today, Tuesday, at Al-Azhar Mosque, a cooperation protocol, within the framework of strengthening cooperation and joint projects between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, to enhance the religious, national and Arab identity of the youth.
For his part, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports expressed his happiness at signing the protocol with Al-Azhar, stressing that Al-Azhar scholars enlightened the world in all fields with their moderate thought, which preserves the fabric of the homeland and consolidates the values of citizenship and coexistence, explaining that the protocol aims to work on Preparing useful young generation for their country, capable of creating the future of this country, standing in the face of currents and ideas that deviate from the true religion, and building youth who are beneficial to their religion and country.
He pointed out that this cooperation comes in light of the recent transformation that youth centers have witnessed to become community service centers that attract young people and, in addition to the various services they provide to the surrounding communities and to the Egyptian family in general in various educational, community, youth, sports and development fields in general.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Dawiny, Undersecretary of Al-Azhar, said that the message of Al-Azhar, which stems from the true religious guidance, calls for integration and comprehensiveness, and it does not concern one side without a side, but rather means everything that builds minds and bodies in a healthy way, for these bodies are a trust, and minds are a greater trust, and women are the hope for the near future, and youth is the jewel in the crown.
The Undersecretary of Al-Azhar explained that this institutional cooperation confirms communication and solidarity between the institutions of the Egyptian state, and that through this cooperation we give the country what it deserves, from young people who are able to face life and changes with firm faith, a sound idea and awareness that Muslims and stalkers do not infiltrate no matter how hard they try. Under the leadership of the wise Egyptian state, we build for tomorrow generations that do not soften and cultivate in the years minds that do not deviate from maturity, civilization and development while adhering to their principles and constants.
The signing of the protocol was witnessed by a group of leaders of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Dr. Azza Al-Dorri, head of the Central Administration for Youth Development, and Eman Othman, General Director of Youth Development from the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
