Sports Minister bids farewell to the President of the International Olympic Committee after his official visits

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, bid farewell to Mr. Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee, after an official visit to Egypt that lasted for two days.


He commended the visit of President Thomas Bach to Egypt, describing it as very fruitful, which dealt with the discussion of many important files. It bid for Egypt to host the 2036 Olympic Games in the presence of Dr. Hassan Mostafa, President of the International Handball Federation, Mostafa Braf, President of the Association of African Olympic Committees "ANOCA" Eng. Hisham Hatab, President of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, a group of leaders of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and heads of sports federations. 


Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee, thanked and appreciated the Egyptian state and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, for the warm reception, praising the Egyptian sports structure. 


Yesterday Mr. Thomas Bach arrived, toured the pyramids area, watched a squash match, and inspected the Egyptian International Olympic Games City, followed by a meeting with President El-Sisi and the official reception at the Egyptian Olympic Committee headquarters. It concluded with a visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization.
