Youth and Immigration Ministers witness the closing of Children World Festival at the Museum of Civilization

On Thursday evening, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Ambassador Suha Gendy, Minister of Immigration, attended the closing ceremony of the third edition of Children World Festival, with the participation of 23 Egyptian countries and teams, under the auspices of Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, organized by the Central Administration for Youth Development - The General Department of Programs and Activities in the Ministry, within the framework of Egypt’s hosting of the United Nations Conference of the States Parties to the Climate Agreement.


The ceremony included a variety of artistic and lyrical paragraphs for youth participating in the festival, who expressed their happiness and gratitude for being in Egypt and participating in the festival.


It was attended by Ghada Shalaby, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Tourism Affairs, and from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Major General Ismail Al-Far, Head of the Youth Sector, Azza Al-Dari, Head of the Central Administration for Youth, Dr. Kamal Darwish, Head of the Scientific Committee of the Ministry, Dr. Abdullah Al-Batesh, Assistant Minister, and Major General Abdul Rahman Shalash, Director The Directorate of Youth and Sports in Giza, Sayed Hazin, Director of the Directorate of Youth and Sports in Cairo, and Dr. Sobhy Hassanein, Vice President of the Universities Sports Federation.


He emphasized his interest in implementing the festival annually and extended his thanks and appreciation to those who organized the festival with the Ministry and brought joy and happiness to the hearts of the participating children.


Ambassador Suha Gendy congratulated the Minister of Youth and Sports on the success of the distinguished international participation festival and the activities witnessed in its actions that reflect Egypt's role and leadership and carry the message of peace from the children of the world from the land of peace and love.


It was great participation from the pioneers of 23 countries: Russia, Armenia, Lithuania, Romania, India, Jordan, Bulgaria, Serbia, Palestine, Italy, Syria, Sri Lanka, Greece, Indonesia, Sudan, Pakistan, Cameroon, Iraq, Japan, Libya, Mauritius, Peru, Spain”, and the participation of Egyptian teams from the governorates of Alexandria, Port Said, Damietta, Ismailia, Cairo, Giza, North Sinai, Aswan, Minya, and South Sinai.
