Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Major General Mohamed El Sherif, Governor of Alexandria, inaugurated a number of projects that serve the youth and sports sector in 7 youth centers and clubs in Alexandria.
The Minister of Youth pointed out that the Ministry is keen to provide all the special capabilities of youth centers in light of the directives of the political leadership to work on expanding the base of sports practitioners and intensifying sports activities within youth centers spread throughout the Republic in order to discover their sports talents and benefit from those talents.
Sobhy also indicated that the Ministry of Youth and Sports pays great attention to the file of developing youth centers at the level of all governorates, providing support to them, and providing all services to serve youth and citizens, along with achieving the ministry's vision of making youth centers community service centers.
In his speech, the Governor of Alexandria praised the effective role played by the Ministry of Youth and Sports to support youth in Alexandria by providing centers and youth clubs equipped in all neighborhoods in order to create a generation of athletes capable of shouldering their responsibilities and supporting their country and well-prepared to implement the sustainable development goals for Egypt 2030.
Al-Sharif stressed that the governorate, with all its agencies, pays great attention to developing and raising the efficiency of the infrastructure and construction of youth centers and clubs in all neighborhoods due to its importance in shaping thought and building minds and identity among our children, because we realize that today’s youth are the leaders of the future.
