A cooperation protocol signed in the presence of PM

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, attended a seminar on the methodology and stages of preparation for the third phase of the National Strategy to Fight Corruption (2023-2030), during the launching activities of this phase, which were held this morning, at the headquarters of the Administrative Control Authority, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in the presence of Senate Speaker Abdel-Wahab Abdel-Razek, Minister Amr Adel, chairperson of the ACA and a group of ministers and state officials in various parties, university presidents and ambassadors of a number of countries, as well as a group of specialists in the field of governance, promoting integrity, transparency and combating corruption, both local and international levels.


The Prime Minister watched a documentary about the mechanisms for preparing the National Anti-Corruption Strategy 2023-2030. He witnessed the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between the ACA and the Ministry of Youth and Sports to enhance cooperation between the two sides in the field of governance and combating corruption.


The cooperation protocol was signed by Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Minister Amr Adel, chairperson of the ACA.


Ambassador Nader Saad, the official spokesperson for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, stated that the memorandum of understanding is a basis for cooperation and a mechanism for coordination between the ACA and the Ministry in the areas of qualification, building and capacity development for workers in the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and its affiliated bodies, and for young people in all governorates in the areas of promoting values, Integrity, transparency, governance, anti-corruption and related topics.


He stressed that the two parties take into account the importance of complementarity between the efforts of the Commission and the Ministry in a way that supports the dissemination of the values ​​of integrity, transparency and governance, and enhances awareness of the dangers of corruption and combating it, and maximizes these efforts in a way that contributes to creating a culture that rejects all forms of corruption, and that the memorandum of understanding comes as a desire to build knowledge and application partnership joint operation.


Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, also witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Administrative Control Authority to enhance the benefit from the research centers and study centers of the Ministry of Higher Education. The cooperation protocol was signed by Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Minister Amr Adel, Head of the Administrative Control Authority.


Ambassador Nader Saad said: According to this protocol, the research centers and study centers affiliated to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research will provide consultations, studies and research on the most important issues facing the Egyptian society, to serve as a national house of expertise that performs integrated advisory and research services in all areas that serve development in various sectors, depending on a group of specialists who will be hired from university professors and consultants.


He stressed the importance of the cooperation protocol in the field of qualitative studies conducted by the Administrative Control Authority with the aim of supporting the decision-maker in various fields and different topics.
