Youth Minister and Alexandria Governor honor Zayed Charity Marathon winners

Under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, and Major General Mohamed El-Sharif, the Governor of Alexandria, honored the winners of the Zayed Charity Marathon, which is implemented by the Ministry through the Central Administration for Sports Development and the proceeds from it are allocated for the benefit of Ahl Masr Hospital ro treat burn victims free. The marathon was held in front of the Alexandria stadium.


The winners of the race for people of determination and abilities came to women, Huda Ahmed who won the first place, Amal Abdel Aziz who won the second place, and the third place came to Sama Ayman Haddad. The winners from men were Walid Jaber who won the first place, and the second was won by Haitham Adel, and the third was Muhammad Rashad.


In the main race, women who won the first place, Amina Bakhit, the second place was won by Basmala Abdel Hamid, the third place was Jihad Mostafa, and men, the first place was achieved by Salem Muhammad Salem, the second was won by Nur al-Din Abu Bakr, and the third was achieved by Abdullah Adel, provided that the rest of the prizes are sent by Egypt Post for each winner.


The prizes presented to the participants in the race is about five million pounds, as prizes will be distributed to 5,000 participants as the largest number of prizes will be presented to the competitors in one of the largest sports races. The proceeds of the Zayed Charity Marathon, in its seventh edition, will be allocated to Ahl Masr Hospital for free burn treatment, in addition to conducting a public lottery for 60 participants for an Umrah trip.


The honor took place in the presence of Lieutenant General Muhammad Hilal Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the Zayed Charity Marathon, and his accompanying delegation, Lieutenant General Ashraf Atwa, Commander of the Navy, Ambassador Maryam Khalifa Al Kaabi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Egypt, Dr. Heba Al Suwaidi, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the People of Egypt Foundation for Development, and a group of leaders from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the governorate, stars of art, sports and media, with the participation of various stakeholders, the Emirati and Egyptian Red Crescent, the sponsors of the event, and Cairo Runners, the company organizing the event.
