Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, directed the establishment of an information center for football players from Egyptian communities abroad under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, in coordination with Mr. Wassim Ahmed, a member of the Prime Minister’s Technical Office, due to his previous experience in bringing in a number of Egyptian players of Egyptian origins in European countries.

The center's mission is to support and develop the Egyptian national teams through research and exploration for Egyptian players of Egyptian origin or dual nationality, linking them to the Egyptian football teams, and preparing a long-term plan to upgrade the Egyptian teams.

This comes within the framework of the Minister of Youth and Sports' keenness to benefit from Egyptian talents abroad to support and develop Egyptian football, and in conjunction with the national projects implemented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports to discover talented people and contribute to the development of Egyptian football.
