Egypt snatched 32 medals on the First day of cadet competitions of Egypt International Taekwondo Championship


Egypt won 32 medals (8 golds, 8 silvers and 16 bronze medals) on the first day of Egypt International Taekwondo Championship cadet competitions held in Hurghada.


For female juniors, In -33 kg contests, Jana Ali, player of Wadi Degla sports club, snatched silver medal while Jana Mehseb, also player of Wadi Degla, and Farida El-Meligy, player of Tanta club, snatched bronze medals.


In -41 kg contests, Mariam El-Zanati of Wadi Degla snatched gold medal, Malak Hossam of shooting club snatched silver medal and Salma Hussain of Smoha snatched bronze medal. 


In -47 kg contests ,Aisha Ahmed of Prolife Academy snatched silver medal, Hana El-Bwab of The Olympic sports club snatched bronze medal and Alia Nader of Alex petrol snatched bronze medal.


In -55 kg contests, Reem Mohamed of Shooting club and Zainep Zakaria of World of Sports Academy snatched silver medals, while Malak Fawzi of El-Montazah and Hana El-Malah of  World of Sports Academy snatched bronze medals.


In +59 kg contests, Jana El-Jawili of Smoha snatched gold medal, Jana El-Said also of Smoha snatched silver medal while shahista Said of The Olympic sports club and Ahd Ahmed snatched bronze medals.


For male juniors, In -37 kg contests, Mohamed Hossam of Wadi Degla snatched gold medal and Omar Fathy of El-Zohour won the silver medal while Ahmed Mohamed of Arab Contractors Club and Youssef Abdul Aaty of The Olympic won bronze medals.


In -45 kg contests, Ali Anwar of Smoha won gold medal and Youssef El-Gadwi of Wadi Degla snatched silver medal while Omar El-Sirsi also of Wadi Degla won bronze medal.


In -53 kg contests, Ahmed Khaled Ibrahim of El-Zohour snatched gold medal and Saif Hussein won bronze medal.


In -61 kg contests, Mahmoud Salah of World of Sports Academy snatched gold medal and Abdul Rahman El-Said of El-Masry won silver medal while Youssef Mazhar of Hadayek Al-Ahram won bronze medal.


In +65 kg contests, Moaaz Ashraf of  Hadayek Al-Ahram won gold medal and Mohamed Ali of Smoha snatched silver medal while Marwan Zakaria of World of Sports Academy snatched bronze medal.


Captain Amr Salim and members of the Egyptian Federation board of directors handed the medals to the winners at the coronation ceremony.
