Sports Minister witnesses the Olympic team training in preparation for the two matches of Zambia in the African qualifiers for the Olympics

Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, was keen to attend the training of the Olympic team held this evening, Thursday, in preparation for the friendly match against Gabon, as part of the friendly experience that the coach of the Brazilian national team relies on, in preparation for the two Zambia matches in the third round of the African qualifiers for Paris Olympic Games 2024.


Dr. Ashraf Sobhy affirmed his confidence in all the players of the Olympic team and the technical staff, and their ability to achieve victory in the two decisive matches in Zambia, and to qualify for the Olympic Games in Paris 2024, indicating that the team includes distinguished elements of promising players.


The Minister pointed out to the focus on preparing national teams in football in light of the Football federation's plan, which will focus heavily on national teams.


The minister called on the team to present a distinguished performance during its upcoming matches, he also assured the public about the future of Egyptian football, stressing that the Olympic team is capable of achieving victories as they have always achieved during the past years in the various continental championships in which they participated.
