Haidi Adel and Nourine El-Gammal qualify for World Modern Pentathlon Cup finals

 

Haidi Adel and Nourine El-Gammal, players of the Egyptian National Modern Pentathlon team qualified for the finals of the championship, as Haidi Adel came in the 32nd place and Nourine El-Gammal came in the 35th place among the best 36 players in the championship.

 

The English national team player Francesca Somers won the first place, while Belarus's player Volha Selkina came in second place and Ukraine's player Valeria Permkina won the third place of the championship.

 

The women’s finals will take place next Friday while the men semi-finals competitions are scheduled to take place on Thursday.

 

The national men team participates with 12 players: Islam Hamed, Mohannad Tarek, Ahmed Osama El-Gendi, Sherif Yasser, Nour El-Din Kareem, Mohamed Khaled, Mohamed Adam, Ali El-Din Sherif, Adham Fouda, Youssef Qorani, Omar Wael and Eyad El-Kashef.

 

31 countries participate in the championship: (Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belarus, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, England, Hungary, Ireland, America, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Serbia, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, Mexico and Egypt the organizing country. With w total number 85 male players, 74 female players in addition to 93 administrators and a coach.
