Youth Minister attends the inauguration of "Education in Egypt" conference under the patronage of the Prime Minister

Dr. Ashraf Sobhy Minister of Youth and Sports witnessed, the opening of the "Education in Egypt" conference, in its second round, entitled " education developing .. Challenges and prospects for success", which is organized by Akhbar Al Youm institution, in collaboration with Cairo University, under the auspices of the Prime Minister, Dr. Moustafa Madbouly.
The conference opened by Mr. Yasser Rizk the head of Akhbar Al Youm board of directors, with the presence of Dr. Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa, minister of Awqaf, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Tarek Shawki, Minister of Education, Ambassador Nabila Makram, Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, Dr. Mohamed El-Khosht, President of Cairo University, Makram Mohammed Ahmed , Chairman of the National Media Authority, and a number of public figures and media practitioners as well as those concerned with the educational system in Egypt.
The conference aims to increase the pace of the development process of school and higher education and support the reform process at the level of curriculum and teaching methods reform, as well as activate the role of the teacher and find the appropriate solutions, in the context of Egypt’s Sustainable Development Strategy (SDS)2030.
The conference includes four sessions dealing with "the vision of Egypt’s future of education, the development of education .. an Egyptian story, the role of higher education and scientific research in supporting the economy and 2030 generation", with the participation of a group of officials, public figures and specialists.
Dr. Ashraf Sobhy praised the diversity of the sessions of " the vision of Egypt’s future of education" conference, and the level of participation in the conference, referring to the positive role of media institutions, including Akhbar Al Youm, in dealing with the issues and challenges in the country, as a key partner in achieving the desired development rates.
The Minister also stressed the importance of the cooperation with various entities and institutions of the country to provide programs and projects for young people and improve the services delivered to them. Pointing to the cooperation with the Ministries of Education and Higher Education in executing the educational and awareness programs for students throughout the year.
