Youth & Sports Minister attends the opening of " Cairo Carnival "for Scout and guide teams at "El-Sahel" Youth Center

  Dr. Ashraf Sobhy Minister of Youth and Sports witnessed the opening of the first" Cairo Carnival "for Scout and guide teams, held in "El-Sahel" Youth Center, with the participation of a number of youth centers in Cairo governorate.

 The events started with a show presented by Scout and guide teams participating in the Carnival, National Peace, followed by a visit to the camp and Scout exhibition, which is participated by Scout and guide teams from the youth centers of " Al Amireya, Al Sawah, Hadayek Al Qubba, May 15 , Al Jazeera , Al – Fustat, Al Tebeen , East Helwan, New Helwan, Zahraa Maadi, Dar el Salaam, Andalus, Al Zawia Al Hamra , Tura El Hitt, Amal, Sahel, Club of May 15,and Scout Association of Sphinx”.

 Dr. Ashraf Sobhy stressed the importance of spreading the Scout Movement among rising generation and youth through projects and programs implemented in youth and sports establishments in all governorates, referring to the role of the scout movement in the disciplined formation, encouraging the spirit of collective and voluntary work , also creating positive personality for the individual and providing a promising leaders to society.

 The minister praised the various activities of the first Cairo Carnival for Scout and guide teams in "El-Sahel" Youth Center and the distinguished level of participation of Cairo youth centers.

    The Minister of Youth and Sports announced the ministry's support for scout festivals, including the approval of supporting the 7th scout festival of the Arab and Egyptian air scouting in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Defense, under the slogan "Our Arabism and our unity" scheduled for March 19-22 in 6 October Club of the Armed Forces in Abu Qir, Alexandria, in coordination with the Arab Scout Organization, with the participation of 400 Scout leaders from Arab countries and all governorates of the Republic with the highest representation of Scout leaders.
