Youth & Sports Ministry concludes the "African Children's Art Festival" and honors the African young in Aswan

 The Ministry of Youth and Sports concluded the African Children's Art Festival, attended by African young representing 9 African countries (Comoros, Somalia, Northern Sudan, South Sudan, Eritrea, Egypt, Nigeria, Algeria and Senegal), and implemented in the frame work of “Aswan the 2019 African youth Capital”.

The festival included organizing art workshops in various fields, as well as the touristic program, which included a series of visits to the touristic and historical places in Aswan such as "the Temple of Philae, the High Dam, Nubian village and the Nile museum”.

The visits aimed to strengthen the links between the African countries, And to integrate young Africans together through a range of interactive development activities.

 The African young also presented an artistic performance at Aswan Youth Center and participated in a symposium entitled "Africa and the National Security", and gathered to send a message of peace and reassurance to the whole world from the Nile Museum in Aswan that Egypt is the country of security and safety.

An exhibition was held for the products of the participating young Africans through the art workshops, which are implemented in cooperation with the Information Authority of the governorate, the Ministry of Antiquities and the Faculties of Fine Arts. The exhibition included a review of samples of decoupage art and paper products, ceramics art and samples of some African publications.

The exhibition is the result of the cooperation between the African participants, which integrated different cultures, and the identification of the heritage and folklore activities of the children of Africa.
