Symposium "The Role of Art and Cinema in Forming awareness and conscience”, in the context of the activities of the Arab and African Forum for youth with Disabilities

The Ministry of Youth and Sports organized a symposium entitled "The Role of Art and Cinema in shaping awareness and conscience of people with disabilities" in the context of the second day activities of Arab and African Forum for the arts and sports of youth with disabilities, which is organized by The Ministry in cooperation with the League of Arab States and the Federal Egyptian Association for Intellectual Disabilities (FEAID), under the slogan "one goal... One dream", from 20th to 27th of March 2019, and under the auspices of H.E president Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in the context of the activities of Cairo, Capital of the Arab youth.

The symposium was attended by the artist Nashwa Mustafa, presenter Amani Dergham and youth with disabilities from Sudan, Zambia, Algeria, Yemen, South Sudan, Nigeria, Benin, Somalia and Egypt.

The artist Nashwa Mustafa stressed that the arts of youth with disabilities are worthy of support, pointing out that people with disabilities play a distinct role in the development of civil society life.

The Forum includes workshops and seminars about people with Disabilities, as well as reviewing their talents in the cultural and artistic fields, including oil painting, photography, short films, painting by Sand and singing.
