Prime minister Madbouli sponsors the Nasser Fellowship for African leadership

The Ministry of Youth and Sports announced that the Council of Ministers chaired by Dr. Moustafa Madbouli sponsored the "Nasser Fellowship for African Leadership" launched by the Ministry (African Youth Bureau, Central Administration of the Parliament and Civic Education) from 8 to 22 June 2019 in cooperation with the Pan African Youth Union.

This is implemented within the framework of the keenness of the State to support the African dossier, in implementation of what was endorsed by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi during the World Youth Forum, that has witnessed an honorable representation of the youth of African countries, and within the framework of its conviction in the role of African youth and the importance of providing them with all forms of support, rehabilitation and training, as well as empowering them in leadership positions and benefiting from their abilities and ideas.

Nasser Fellowship is one of the mechanisms implementing the "1 Million by 2021" initiative, aimed at training one million young Africans by 2021, launched by the AU Commission on Science, Technology and Human Resources.

The Fellowship aims to popularize the authentic Egyptian experience in national institution-building and to create a new generation of young African transformational leaders with a vision that aligns with the Egyptian presidency of the African Union in serving the goals of African unity through integration, training, capacity building, the development of strategic visions, as well as organizing meetings for the most influential young leaders at the continental level.
