Within the framework of the second day of the Nasser Fellowship for African Leadership: the Ministry of Youth and Sports organizes for young Africans a visit to the Media Production City



The Ministry of Youth and Sports organized a visit to the Media Production City for young Africans participating in the activities of the "Nasser Fellowship for African Leadership" launched by the Ministry (the African Youth Bureau and the  Central Administration of the Parliament and Civic Education) under the auspices of Mr. Moustafa Madbouli, President of the Cabinet of Ministers, in cooperation with the Pan-African Youth Union, from 22 June 2019, at the Center for Civic Education, El Gezira.


The young Africans, during their visit organized within the framework the second day of the Fellowship, explored the studios of Media Production City, including the El-Mehwar TV channel, Sada El-Balad TV, and CBC, as well as other satellite channels, control rooms and other technical high-tech studios directly connected to the satellite.


The tour included a visit to various studio complexes through which the largest television, drama and film production is made, covering most of the television programs of various Arab and Egyptian channels, as well as visiting the open air filming locations comprising different neighborhoods, as examples beaches, deserts, rivers, cities and various natural environments that are similar to many world cities.


The tour also included a visit to various filming locations, including the Islamic region, the rural region, the Pharaonic region, the Alexandria region, the shanty towns, the archaeological region, the Bedouin and desert region, the coastal area and recreation area.

The tour ended with a visit to the city's training center, which organizes the most up-to-date training courses for students and graduates in various fields of industry, engineering and media management.
