Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, inspected Ismailia Stadium accompanied by Major General Hamdi Osman, Governor of Ismailia, and Mohamed Shiha, member of the Organizing Committee of the championship and President of Group F.
He praised the speed pace of carrying out all the preparations and arrangements according to the scheduled times and with high efficiency.
Sobhy stressed the need for good organization during the championship events for all matches. Asserting his confidence in the working team of Group F.
Dr. Ashraf Sobhy thanked Major General Hamdi Osman, Governor of Ismailia, for his great efforts in providing all needs and overcoming any obstacles that face the teams that will be hosted by Ismailia Governorate.
In the same context, the Minister visited the hotels that will receive the teams of Group F. He expressed his happiness with the preparations of the hotels to host the delegations accompanying the teams.
Ismailia hosts Group F in which Ghana, Cameroon, Guinea Bissau and Benin will compete. The opening match will be played on June 25 between Cameroon and Guinea Bissau.
This came within hosting Egypt for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations no.32, which will take place from June 21 to July 19. With the participation of 24 African teams for the first time.
