The arrival of the national handball team to Egypt with the Minister of youth and sports

The first national Egyptian handball team arrived at the Cairo International Airport on 28th of January 2019, after their participation in the world handball championship which held in both Denmark and German from 10th to 27th of January 2019

 Ashraf Sobhy minister of youth and sports  and Hisham Nasr, head of the Egyptian handball federation, accompanied the team from Denmark, after they attended the final match between Denmark and Norway. And their receiving the flag of Egypt's holding to the 2021 world handball championship in the presence of Dr. Hassan Mostafa, head of the International handball federation And leaders of Denmark

The Minister praised the performance of the national team in the championship and achieving the eighth place, stressing the role of the board of directors of the Egyptian handball federation in preparing the teams for the international championships and work on spreading the awareness of participating the game throughout the Republic

Sobhy stressed that they will start the preparation for the world handball championship which will be held in Egypt in 2021

The Minister reclaimed the federation to prepare the players for the upcoming African Nations championship to win in it. And to be prepared for the qualifying tournaments for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, to assure the leadership and progress of the Egyptian handball and its presence among the greatest eight teams in the world
