Egypt and Uganda qualify for AFCON round of 16


Egypt won their African Cup of Nations Group A with a 2-0 victory over Uganda at round 3 games of group stage of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations which takes place from June 21 to July 19.


Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah opened the scoring with a free-kick midway through the first half. Ahmed Elmohamady then doubled the Pharaohs' lead before half-time.


While DR Congo won 4-0 over Zimbabwe at Air Defense Stadium on Sunday.


after winning today’s match over Uganda, Egypt became the first at their Group with 9 points, while Uganda came in second place with 4 points and DR Congo came in the third place with 3 points. Meanwhile, Zimbabwe eliminated from the group stage with only 1 point.
