With the participation of Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, launching the first African health conference in Egypt

Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of youth and sports, witnessed the launching of the first African health conference in Egypt under the sponsorship of H.E Abdul Fattah El-Sisi the president of the Republic, Which is organized by Tanta university in cooperation with the leaders foundation for administrative and development sciences and faculty of African postgraduate studies, from 29th of January to 1st of February 2019

 

Sobhy stressed that Egypt is developing new relations with African countries to cooperate in various fields, based on the mutual interests between them and this can be proved by the fact that Egypt won the Honor of hosting the 2019 African Cup of Nations and other African events which will be organized by Egypt, Pointing out that the ministry of youth and sports prepared a plan to develop the relations with African countries and emphasize the identity of African Egypt


Dr. Ashraf Sobhy said in his speech that the ministry of youth and sports is a key partner in developing the health of the African citizen and maintaining it through developing the Egyptian sports medicine system with its physical and physiological components, and providing all its requirements through the ministry's centers spread throughout the Republic to conduct various tests and measurements that are necessary for the field of sports

  

Sobhy pointed out that the ministry organized many programs like the African school 2063, the African camp and the African awareness program. It also organized some programs that will be implemented during the period of Egypt’s presidency of the African union, to build the African youth, develop their abilities and invest their creative energies in developing sustainable development to our African continent

  

Sobhy finished his word saying that sports is the safe way to improve health and fight the endemic diseases in the African continent and helps in developing the continent socially and economically
