Tunisia beat Ghana and qualifies for AFCON quarter finals


Tunisia won over Ghana by penalties in their game on Monday at Ismailia Stadium, to qualify for AFCON round of 8.


Taha Khenissi scored Tunisia’s first goal at the 73rd minute, then Ghana drew by the Tunisian player Rami Bedoui’s own goal at the last minutes of the game and sent the game to extra time and penalties.


Tunisia ended the game with a 5-4 post-match penalties victory. Ferjani Sassi scored the winning penalty to take Tunisia to the quarter finals of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
