Egypt's Finswimming team snatches a bronze at the World Championship


The Egyptian National Team won a bronze medal at Finswimming in the open water 4 × 2 km mixed race. While Russia won the first place and Ukraine came in the second place.


The Egyptian team included: Mazen Al-Sayed, Mahmoud Walid, Loge Yasser and Salma Ramadan. Egypt scored an hour and 21 minutes and 3 seconds. 


Coach Fares Abu Zaid, Trainer of the team, said that Egypt is expected to achieve another medal at the 6 km individual junior races. And thanked Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, as well as Sameh Al-Shazly, president of the Egyptian and Arab Federations, for their great efforts in supporting the Egyptian team.


On the other hand, Sameh Al-Shazly, president of the Egyptian and Arab federations and a member of the International Diving Federation, expressed his happiness with this great achievement, which is an addition to the record of the Egyptian sport, which is full of achievements.
