Egyptian squash team returns to Cairo after winning the WSF World Junior Squash Championship


Egyptian National squash team, headed by coach Ahmed El Mataany the Technical Director, will return to Cairo on Saturday evening after winning the WSF World Junior Squash Championship, which was held in Malaysia from August 5 to 9, after beating his Malaysian rival 2-0.


Egypt’s score has risen for the ninth title, topping the list of countries with the most titles, followed by England with 5 championships, then Australia with 3 championships.


Egypt has been represented by Hania Al-Hamami, Jana Shiha, Sana Ibrahim, Farida Mohammed, Malak Mustafa and Noor Abu Makarem.


Egyptian Squash junior women dominated the World Individual Championship Awards after Hania El Hammamy won the gold medal. While Jana Shiha won the silver medal, and the bronze medal went to Farida Mohamed.
