Egypt loses to Mozambique in AfroBasketWomen quarter final


The first Egyptian national women basketball team lost their game against Mozambique 66-80 in the quarter-final stage of FIBA Women’s AfroBasket Championship, held in Senegal from 10th to 18th of August.


Egypt’s team qualified for the quarter final after beating Cameroon 68-63. While Mozambique qualified after topping group D.


It’s scheduled for our national team to face the team who loses in tomorrow’s game between Angola and Senegal.


Egypt’s team includes 14 players: Asrar Maged, Thoraya Mohamed, Jana Mostafa, Raneem Mohamed, Reem Osama, Fatma Mamdouh, Reem Hisham, Menna Allah Mohamed, Miral Ashraf, Nada Nafaa, Nour Allah Ali Talaat, and Hala Mostafa.
