Egypt wins World Handball Championship after defeating Germany


Egypt’s U19 handball team won the 2019 IHF Men’s Youth (U19) World Championship for the first time, held In Macedonia from 6th to 18th of August 2019. After defeating Germany 32-28 in the finals on Sunday


Our national team managed to reach the finals by defeating Portugal 41-36, while Germany’s national handball team beat Denmark 31-23 in the semis.


Our champions qualified for the quarter-final after beating Slovenia 30-23 in the round of 16, before defeating Iceland 35-31 in the quarter finals.


Egypt’s Champions came in the first place of their Group B with 8 points as they won 4 matches over Sweden, Chinese Taipei, Canada and Hungary while they lost one game against France, before they won the game over Slovenia 30-23 at the round of 16.
