Egypt’s delegation celebrates the four rowing medals at AAG 2019


The Egyptian delegation participating in the 12th All Africa Games celebrated their 4 medals win as the national first rowing team snatched 4 different medals on Wednesday, (3 silvers and 1 bronze medal), at All Africa Games 2019, held in Rabat, Morocco until 31st of August.


Maryam Abdellatif snatched the bronze medal, while the silvers were collected by Dareen Hegazy, Ahmed Abdelkhalek and Ahmed Khaled.


The men's team is led by coach Mahmoud Abdel Halim, while the women's team is led by Sameh Abdel Aziz. Egypt's rowing delegation is headed by Dr. Mohamed Thabet Abdullah.


Rowing competitions were held at the Lake Dam in the Moroccan city of Salé, near Rabat, the hosting city.


Egypt is leading the medals table of the tournament with 14 medals (5 golds, 4 silvers, and 5 bronze medals).
