Egypt faces Puerto Rico at the opening of the Girl’s U18 World Volleyball Championship

The national girls' volleyball team U18 will face Puerto Rico in the 1st round of Group A at the FIVB Volleyball Girls' U18 World Championship, hosted by Egypt from September 5 to 14.
The game takes place at 9 pm in Ismailia Stadium.
An opening ceremony will take place before the game at 7 pm, with the presence of Dr. Ashraf Sobhy Minister of Youth and Sports, Hisham Hassan, President of the Egyptian Olympic Committee in addition to a number ambassadors of the participating countries, Ahmed Abdel-Dayem, acting as head of the Association of Egyptian Volleyball and Amr Elwany, president of the African union.
The squad included 12 players: Mai Ghazal, Sabine Hassan, Salma Youssef, Salma Abdel Hadi, Nada Walid, Sandy Khaled, Farida El Hennawi, Aya El Nadi, Mariam Thabet, Logaine Yasser, Nour Ehab and Sama Emad.
