Egypt snatches 7 medals at South Africa International badminton championship

Egyptian national badminton team ended their participation in the 2019South Africa International Badminton Championship which was held from December 7 to 10.  


The national team snatched 7 medals (1 gold, 1 silver and 5 bronzes). The mixed doubles team (Adham Hatem and Doha Hani) won the first place and the gold medal, while the team (Ahmed Salah and Hadia Hosni) got a bronze so as the team of (Abdel Rahman Abdel Hakim and Jana Ashraf). 


At men doubles contests Ahmed Salah and Adham Hatem won a silver medal as well as Abdel Rahman Abdel Hakim and Mohamed Mostafa who won a bronze medal.


Doha Hani won a bronze medal at single women contests and Adham Hatem snatched a bronze one at single men contests.


The list of the participating team in the tournament included: “Hadia Hosni - Doha Hani - Nour Yousri - Jana Ashraf - Ahmed Salah - Abdel Rahman Abdel Hakim - Adham Hatem - Mohamed Mostafa Kamel” with them technical director Rami Ibrahim.
