In light of the ongoing preparations for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, the Ministry of Youth and Sports announced the start of the implementation of the field follow-ups within the plan to track the preparations of all sports federations whose champions are scheduled to participate in the upcoming Olympic Games.

It is scheduled that the field follow-ups will include the Minister of Youth and Sports holding regular periodic meetings during the remaining months before the launching of the Tokyo 2020 competitions with the Egyptian Olympic Committee and all participating sport federations with the attendance of their technical and administrative officials to apply direct communications with all members of each sport to see the preparations and all developments and solve any problems in the ongoing preparations.

The Ministry’s plan, which started a year ago through individual sponsorship programs for the qualified champions of the Olympic Games in coordination with private sector institutions, as well as support and financing for qualification programs and preparations for federations, includes following up training schedules and programs for various sports federations and technical and administrative bodies.
