Egypt Gymnastics Federation reveals the 15th African Championships Logo

Egypt Gymnastics federation under the leadership of Dr. Ehab Amin revealed the logo of the 15th African Championships for Rhythmic and Aerobic Gymnastics, which will take place from the 10th – 17th of March 2020, in Sharm EL Sheikh (Egypt). The Sports Development Center in Sharm El Sheikh will be the official venue, with the participation of 110 participants from 12 countries: Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, South Africa, Cape Verde, Senegal, Congo, Angola, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Benin.


The championship will be held in two stages. The first is the competitions of Rhythmic Gymnastics from march 10 to 14, that will also serve as qualification event for 2020 Tokyo Olympic games for Rhythmic Gymnastics. The Egyptian national women’s team, headed by the Russian International expert Natalia Dimitrova, seeks to book the qualifying ticket.


And the second stage is the competitions of Aerobics Gymnastics from March 13 to 17.


President of Egypt Gymnastics federation, Dr. Ehab Amin stressed that the championship has the most participation form players and countries at the level of the African championships.


Amin indicated that the gymnastics federation is keen to hold the championship in Sharm El Sheikh for the first time within the federation's plan to spread the game in all governorates and revitalize Egyptian tourism.


He added that a delegation from the International Federation and the Executive Office will attend the championship, as well as the presidents of the African federations.
