Ashraf Sobhy launches portal in 4 languages ​​to cover Handball World Cup events



 

Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, agreed to develop the ministry's portal system, “Egypt's Portal for Youth and Sports”, being officially launched in four languages ​​(Arabic, English , French and Swahili), in preparation for the Handball World which will take place in Egypt January 2021, as well as to ensure communication with young people in Egypt and abroad.

 Dr. Ashraf Sobhy pointed out that the electronic portal is an integrated media system (news website - Internet radio - YouTube channel - pages on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) whose objective is to serve Egyptian youth in and out Egypt and build a bridge for communication among young people around the world.

The minister added that we as a ministry are working to provide a new service for the handball world championship which will take place in Egypt through a portal launched in four languages ​​to cover the events of the championship and serve the fans everywhere.

He added that the Egypt strives to ensure the success of the championship in all its aspects, adding media is the most effective way to embody these successes on the pitch. It is for this reason, we will provide multiple services to the guests of the World Cup before, during and after the championship, not to mention the services provided by the State thus reflecting the international place occupied by Egypt.

This is part of the services provided by the ministry to make the handball championship that the whole world awaits a success to reflect Egypt's ability to organize world championships, especially since it has organized the two biggest events on the African continent: the African Cup of Nations Championship and the African qualifications for the Olympic Games. He added that the electronic portal would not only be limited to providing sports services, covering the championship and star dialogues, but would rather extend to providing information on teams, competitions and venues and the location. way of attending matches. The portal will also review the tourist and archaeological places of each governorate hosting the teams and will offer the free photo service with high quality, accessible to all local and international media.

It should be noted that the ministry radio will be dedicated to covering the championship 24 hours a day. A new group of young presenters are currently being trained to start the radio in its new form in conjunction with the raffle ceremony, as well as the training of around 25 young men and women graduates from the Faculty of Mass Communication and talented students from other faculties who represent the core of future presenters, which is a new addition provided by the Ministry of Youth to Egyptian media.

The electronic portal of the Ministry of Youth and Sports has undergone significant development over the past period, as it has become an inclusive means of interaction bringing together young people from around the world and from where they can access the services provided by the ministry, adding that it is a bridge of communication with young people abroad, whether they are expatriates or immigrants, with a view to discovering Egypt well and being aware of all questions, tourist places, services and championships in which Egypt participates.
