Egyptian, South Sudanese sports ministers discuss joint cooperation

Dr. Ashraf Sobhy Youth and Sports Minister and Head of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Youth and Sports Ministers, made a phone call with South Sudanese Minister of Youth and Sports Albino Paul, to discuss joint cooperation between both sides in the coming period.

Sobhy welcomed offering all support to South Sudan as part of the bilateral ties binding both countries to start implementing joint programs and projects in the coming period.

Dr. Ashraf invited the South Sudanese Minister to visit Egypt soon to coordinate the cooperation terms and sign a joint memorandum of understanding activating the components of the cooperation protocol on the ground, in a way that would help promote relations, and support the prospects for cooperation with South Sudan in terms of sports and youth activities and programs.

The South Sudanese Minister expressed his pleasure to cooperate with the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports in the coming stage, and benefiting from the Egyptian accumulated experiences in this regard, highlighting Egypt’s leading role in the region and its keenness to support its sisterly countries and strengthening diplomatic relations with them.
