After a strong preparation program, Hedaya Malak is ready for the Egyptian International Taekwondo Championship

Egypt's taekwondo national team player,Hedaya Malak, is preparing to compete in the Egyptian International Championship, which takes place in Hurghada from 21st to 24th of February 2019.
The bronze medalist of Rio 2016 Olympic Games (-57 kg) is subject to a strong preparation program financed by sponsors under the supervision of a consultative committee and with the approval of the Technical Committee of the Egyptian Taekwondo Federation.
Her training program began in June 2018 with a training camp with the Serbian national team under the leadership of Serbian coach Jovic Dragan, the technical director of the Serbian team and one of the world's best taekwondo training legends, who won two Olympic medals during his time in charge of the Serbian national team: where Serbian Tijana Bogdanovic snatched the silver medal (-49kg) at Rio de Janeiro 2016, and Serbian Milica Mandic won the gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics, In addition to winning many medals in world championships and Grand Prix.
Undoubtedly, Hedaya benefited from training among the best players in the world where she was able to achieve several international medals during this period in the weight (-67 kg) and she started her journey after the end of the 2017 World Championship where she won the Russia Open gold medal, the Riga Open Bronze medal, and Croatia Open silver medal
She finished the 2018 season with France Open gold medal, also participated in Taiwan and Manchester Grand Prix, and with the start of this season, Hedaya Malak continued her training program and was able to start the season strongly, where she won Cyprus Open gold medal after a camp in Greece and another in Serbia.
With these results, Hedaya managed to prove herself in the new weight (-67 kg) in which she moved to play at the end of 2017, where she was able in a short period to improve her Olympic and global rankings in this weight.
The Egyptian champion now occupies the 26th place in the Olympic rankings and the 29th in the world ranking of this weight.
Hedaya aims to reach the best world ranking before the world championship kick off which will be held in May 2019 in Manchester.
Hedaya Malak will play in this edition of the Egyptian International Championship in the presence of coach Jovic Dragan, technical director of the Serbian team, who will attend the championship with his country.
