Sports Minister and IHF President meet with Handball world cup Organizing Committee

On Sunday Morning, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Dr. Hassan Mustafa, International Handball Federation president, met with the Organizing Committee of Handball Championship that will be held in Egypt in January 2021.


The meeting was attended by Hesham Nasr, Egyptian Handball Federation president and Chairman of Organizing Committee, Hussain Labib, Organizing Committee Director, Ahmed El-Sheikh, Chairman of the Governmental Communication Committee, and the Chairman of the relevant Committees of the championship.


Sports Minister stated that the Organizing Committee is working diligently with all its power in preparation for the championship scheduled to be held in Egypt during the period from 13 to 31 January 2021.


Sobhy praised the exerted efforts by all the concerned Committees in cooperation and coordination with International Handball Federation and Engineering Authority, stressing that the upcoming period will witness an intense activity as some important files have to be settled, because the Organizing Committee, which works under great stress from the International Federation and with great support from the State, seeks to deliver the stadiums and the halls early, especially as international inspection Committees continue to follow up what is happening closely.


Dr. Hassan Mustafa, International Handball Federation president, was assured of the final presentations of constructing, development, organizational, and marketing works in addition to the last works at the indoor halls and the administrative offices of the tournament.


It was agreed on the final form of the organizing committees and their roles in the coming period, all match schedules with their timings, halls and training halls, and volunteers and training programs for them.
