The last rehearsal for the events of the opening ceremony of the Egyptian Child Olympics, which will be performed by superstar Hisham Abbas, has just ended. The opening ceremony will be held today's evening at Olympic Center in Maadi, in the presence of Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports.

The events of the Egyptian Child Olympics are being organized under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, amid great preparations for a huge ceremony which will impress everyone.

There are a lot of performances that will be held during the ceremony such as: a taekwondo performance, a karate performance, that will be performed by 200 Giza children, sports performances from Smouha Sc in Alexandria, a sports performance from El-Shalalat Youth Center, and a performance from Port Said, in addition to an artistic performance, in which a new song for Egyptian Child Olympics will be performed by singer Hisham Abbas and many children from various governrates.

The regional finals of the Egyptian Child Olympics, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, witnessed a strong competition among children from all governrates of Egypt over the last period.

The launching of the Child Olympics by the Ministry of Youth and Sports based on the importance of the sound upbringing of children, the role of the sports in physical education and health aspects, providing children with sound and basic skills that help them lead from young age and create a generation that healthy and physically fit.

Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports launched the Child Olympics flame in last August at the Olympic Center in Maadi, followed by flame igniting in various governrates, in order to create a new generation that is capable of being responsible and practicing sports as a way of life, and to get the participants, from all governrates, acquainted.
