Fourth edition of Youth Centers' League for Deaf kicks off

The Ministry of Youth and Sports announced the launch of the fourth edition of the Youth Centers'League for Deaf, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in cooperation with youth centers' Central Administration and People with Disabilities office affiliated to the Central Administration for Minister's affairs. The competitions begin with the draw for the preliminary round with the participation of 16 governorates, which are Red Sea, Aswan, Luxor, Qena, New Valley, Sohag, Beni Suef, Fayum, Giza, Gharbia, Monufya, Matrouh, North Sinai, South Sinai, Ismailia, and Qalioubya. 8 matches are held throughout the day at stadiums of Abu Qir youth city and Maamourah youth center.


On the sideline of the preliminary round competitions, the Ministry of Youth and Sports holds an education course for the trainers of the participating teams in the League of its fourth edition. After the end of the preliminary round and the qualification of 8 teams, a draw for the 16th round of the fourth edition is carried out, including 8 teams of the 8th round In the previous edition and the qualifying 8 teams of the preliminary round of this edition.


The organization of the Deaf League aims to motivate youth with disabilities, to practice sports, to integrate them into society, to spread the spirit of fair play among them, to identify their talents, and to positively spend their free time.
