Sports Minister makes an inspection tour of the Sports City in the Administrative Capital

Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, continued his inspection tours to the covered halls that host the World Handball Championship activities. It is held from January 13 to January 31, as he visited the Sports City in the New Administrative Capital.
The Sports City is established in the New Administrative Capital on 93 acres with a capacity of 7,500 spectators. The city includes a playground complex, a group games area, multi-purpose playgrounds, places for families and children, individual games halls, a swimming pool complex, tennis &squash courts, the cultural, technological and buildings, the service area, and the covered hall that has been completed.
The hall will host the second group, "Spain, Tunisia, Brazil, and Poland," and the sixth "Portugal, Algeria, Iceland, and Morocco."
Sobhy held a meeting with the managers of the four halls to inspect the final preparations, before the start of the activities. It is known that the Handball World Cup "Egypt 2021" is the largest tournament in the world to be held since the Corona pandemic last year.
32 teams will participate for the first time, and the championship competitions will be held in 4 halls, which are the Cairo Stadium Hall, the Administrative Capital Hall, Burj Al Arab Hall, and Dr. Hassan Mostafa Hall in 6 th October city.
