Sterilizing Cairo Stadium hall after Egypt’s opening match

The organizing committee of the World Handball Championship has sterilized Cairo Stadium Sports Hall after the opening match between Egypt and Chile, where Egypt won 35/29.

The sterilization work includes floors, walls, corridors, offices, halls and rooms and aims at protecting all participants against the Covid-19 pandemic.

An opening ceremony of the 27th IHF World Men’s Handball Championship was held before the opening match, with the attendance of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and a number of ministers and officials of the IHF.

The 27th IHF World Men’s Handball Championship is held in Egypt from January 13 to 31.
