The ministers of sports and health review the two ministries efforts in the World Handball Championship

Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, held a press conference in the presence of Dr. Hassan Mustafa, President of the International Handball Federation, in which they reviewed the efforts of the Egyptian state in hosting the World Handball Championship last January with the participation of 32 teams from different countries of the world.


During the conference, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, greeted President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, for his great vision in establishing the championship and his keenness to get it out at the best level in all its aspects.


The Sports Minister added that all the measures that were applied in the championship have become a model for all countries in hosting sports events in light of the Corona pandemic.


 Dr. Hala Zayed thanked the Minister of Youth and Sports for the distinguished cooperation between the two ministries in the tournament and for maintaining the delegations and teams of 32 countries safely in accordance with the precautionary measures that have been applied.


Dr. Hassan Mustafa, President of the International Handball Federation, thanked the Egyptian state and the efforts of the ministers of sports and health, noting that all countries praised the efforts made by the Egyptian state in organizing the tournament in light of the Corona pandemic.
