Ashraf Sobhy inspects Port Said Stadium as a preparation for AFCON


Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, minister of youth and sports inspected Port Said Stadium accompanied by Major General Adel El-Ghadban, governor of Port Said Governorate.


The minister listened to the latest updates  of developing and upgrading the stadium as a preparation for AFCON, which will be hosted by Egypt, as it is scheduled that Port Said will host one of the championship groups, in addition to organizing the spectators'entrance, their seats and raising the efficiency of the pitch.


Sobhy pointed out that AFCON will attract more than 50 thousand tourists to Egypt, in addition to the presence of 2.1 billion followers of the championship through satellite broadcasting, assuring that it is a very important and an exceptional championship for both sports and economy.


All the stadiums in which the championship will be held have been closed in order to be prepared and upgraded to host AFCON Championship.
