Youth Minister inaugurates the Rowad 2021 conference and exhibition on career planning

This morning, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports and Dr.Mahmoud Al-Matini, President of Ain Shams University, inaugurated the Rowad (pioneers) 2021 conference and exhibition on career planning and rehabilitation for the labour market, which is implemented by the ministry through the Central Administration for Projects and Youth Education ( the General Administration for Youth Training) in cooperation with Advisor Group for Consulting and Training, on 23-24 March, at the Civil Education Center in Al Jazeera.


Dr. Ashraf Sobhi confirmed that this event, which is the most important for university youth and fresh graduates, is sponsored by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in cooperation with the Advisor Group for Consulting and Training, praising the role of Egyptian universities in their effective cooperation and strategic partnership between them.

The Minister of Youth and Sports emphasized the vision of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the integrating future vision of the Egyptian state in planning, thinking for the future, taking into account rapid changes and the needs of Egyptian youth, qualifying and training them through the Central Administration of Projects and Training youth in cooperation and coordination with the relevant authorities in the country, pointing to the initiatives implemented by the ministry In order to link youth with the laboUr market through the emergence of a group of concepts, the most important of which is entrepreneurship, the employment bank, and the conference held at the core of the discussion topic, wishing to reach recommendations and ideas from young people to elaborate them and work on the process of linking and studying the problems. 


The Ministry of Youth and Sports pointed that the conference events include an exhibition for training and employment for a large group of companies and banks, in addition to discussion sessions for more than 30 expert on the most important issues of career planning, labour market skills, and challenges that many youth face. The conference was attended by a huge number of businessmen and society figures. Many outstanding university youth were honored. Many sponsoring companies and banks provides free training grants for more than a hundred youth. 


From his part, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Matini, President of Ain Shams University thanked the Minister of Youth and Sports and all attendees, pointing to the importance of the topic of employment forums and the importance of partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and all concerned parties that work together to qualify and train youth to find a suitable job opportunity that suits the needs of the labour market. He explained that there is a center for developing the skills of young graduates and recent graduates at the university in cooperation with the ministry, and concluded that all concerned authorities will monitor any changes in the world of the labour market and work to link them with youth in light of digital transformation, accelerated technology around the world and the industrial revolution.


The conference discusses the training and skills development strategy for young people within the framework of Egypt Vision 2030, planning skills to build a career, career planning and work fields in banks and banking institutions, career planning and work in the accounting, auditing and financing sectors, labour market analysis in the context of contemporary digital transformations, the development of functional areas of work in the software and information technology sector, the functional areas of work in investment institutions and securities companies, the closing session and the honoring ceremony of the outstanding youth. 


The Minister of Youth and Sports and the President of Ain Shams University also witnessed the conclusion of the opening session and the handing over of shields and certificates to senior guests and participating parties.
