Dr. Ashraf Sobhy congratulated his Nigerian counterpart for assuming the post of Minister of Youth and Sports, and told him that he is welcomed in his second country, Egypt.

He wished more progress in the relations between the two brotherly countries, especially in the fields of youth and sports, which receive great support and attention, especially in light of the political visions that support this approach under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

He pointed out that there are many fields that receive attention, adding that we are working together on bridging views between the two countries and on fruitful cooperation.

Meanwhile, Mr. Sunday Dare, the Nigerian Minister of Youth and Sports, explained that the population convergence of the Egyptian and Nigerian people in numbers and the youth population sets Egypt as a model for how to provide various services to youth and support them in various fields.

The Nigerian Minister of Youth and Sports also reviewed what the Nigerian government is doing in order to provide all services and support to youth, through supporting small enterprises and entrepreneurship, adding that the Egyptian model in supporting youth and providing funding in cooperation with various parties is something that is being studied in Nigeria and many ideas are being applied as they are implemented by Egypt.

At the end of the meeting, the Nigerian Minister of Youth and Sports thanked Dr. Ashraf Sobhy for the hospitality, and invited him to the proposed conference to be held in Nigeria in the presence of other youth and sports ministers, in which discussions and workshops would be held to develop visions and perceptions of what they had done in their country and to get benefit from various other experiences.

It is worth noting that the conference to be held in Nigeria will be attended by the ministers of youth and sports from "Egypt - Nigeria - Ghana - South Africa - Kenya".
