Sports Minister honors Egyptian champions of somatic power and arm wrestling

The Minister of Sports affirmed his uphold for the Egyptian champions in varied sports activities and dealing to provide them with all their wants and necessities in coordination with the completely different sports activities federations in organize to completely put together them for the worldwide tournaments through which they take part all year long and to ensure the best possible results.

This occurred in the course of the handover of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr Ashraf Sobhy, for the Egyptian somatic power groups, taking part within the World Physical Strength Championship in Portugal and the World Arm wrestling Championship in Romania, within the presence of Dr. Abdel Awal Mohamed, Deputy Minister of the Sports Championship, Major General Mahmoud Mahmoud Barakat, President of the Federation.

The Minister praised the achievements of the Egyptian champions of somatic power and arm wrestling, the victories, the elevating of the Egyptian flag in these worldwide boards and the acquiring of varied medals added to the equilibrium of Egypt within the ranks of the World’s Championships.

Dr. Ashraf Sobhy discussed with the Egyptian power Federation, how to work to broaden the achieve of the game in greater coordination with the Ministry and sports clubs.

For his part, the President of the Federation, Major General Mahmoud Mahmoud Barakat, expressed his thanks and appreciation for honoring the Ministry of Youth and Sports headed by Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, explaining that this is a great incentive and honor for the Federation to work on expanding and distributing the game.

The Egyptian somatic power mission taking part on the planet championships within the Portuguese capital, Lisbon, got 11 gold and seven silver medals, with the participation of the gamers; Mahmoud Ahmed Adawi, Ahmed Abdel-Fadil, Sami Mazhar, Aya Swailem, Mahmoud Ahmed Al-Shawarbi, Youssef Ahmed Seddik, Abdel-Rahman Mohamed, the director of the mission, Khaled Abdel-Azim Mohamed, Adel Ibrahim Al-Assal, the director technical crew of somatic power, and Mohamed Fathallah, the administrator of the Federation.

The delegation of the Egyptian arm wrestling crew taking part on the world arm wrestling championship in Romania, received 5 silver medals and a bronze medal, with the participation of the gamers; Ali Mohamed Hashem, Omar Saeed Omar, Andre Joseph, Fatima Hussein Kamel, Mohamed Ahmed Qandil, Badr Mohamed Rabie, and the Head of mission, Mahran Ezz El-Din Ahmed, Tariq Othman Abdel-Ghani, technical director of the arm crew of iron.
