Dr. Ashraf Sobhy meets with the Minister of State for Youth Affairs in the United Arab Emirates

On Monday 10th, Jan, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports and Head of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Youth and Sports Ministers, met with His Excellency Shamma Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Youth Affairs in the United Arab Emirates and Vice President of the Arab Youth Center on the sidelines of her participation as a speaker in the main plenary session of the World Youth Forum "The Corona pandemic...a warning for humanity and a new hope", in the honor of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The meeting discussed the joint programs that can be implemented in the two countries to develop and build the capacities of young people, praising the bilateral relations that bring together Egypt and the United Arab Emirates. They announced partnership between the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Arab Youth Center, and in recognition of the importance of serving the youth sector, the active participation of Arab youth, and the implementation of initiatives that would stand on the needs and service of Arab youth.
They discussed the importance of the partnership between the Ministry and the Arab Youth Center, which would enhance and develop cooperation in the fields of projects, programs, and initiatives that benefit Arab youth in general and Egyptian youth in particular. They pointed out the need to encourage and engage young people in the Arab world in a meaningful community. They facilitate exchanging ideas and experiences within the framework of empowering Arab youth.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Ashraf Sobhy and Shamma Al Mazrouei, participated in the opening of the forum and the main plenary session, under the honor of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Republic, and in the presence of a remarkable official and popular Arab delegations. The participating official Arab delegations were Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati, Jordanian Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, and several Arab and international political and youth leaders.
