Dr. Ashraf Sobhy meets Arab Voluntary Union President after his participation in World Youth Forum

Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, who is also Head of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Youth and Sports Ministers, met Mr. Hassan Buhazaa, President of the Arab Voluntary Union, on the sidelines of his participation as a speaker in the session under the title “Development Experiences in the Face of Poverty” held during the events of the World Youth Forum 2022 in its fourth edition , with the honor of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.


The meeting dealt with the events that were implemented in cooperation between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Arab Voluntary Union, including the Arab and African Youth Forum for Youth and Entrepreneurs, and the future plan for cooperation between the Ministry and the Union.


For his part, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy expressed his happiness for the fruitful and constructive cooperation with the Union, explaining that the Union has many well-qualified employees and experiences in the field of voluntary work, praising the events implemented by the Union such as the Prince Muhammad bin Fahd International Medal for the Best Voluntary Work and other events, programs and activities that It will spread the concept of volunteering in the Arab world.


For his side, Buhazaa praised the World Youth Forum and its various topics, sending a message of thanks and appreciation to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his great efforts to empower and rehabilitate youth, and development achieved in Egypt over the past seven years.


The President of the Arab Voluntary Union indicated that during the coming period, preparations will be made to implement the second edition of the Arab and African Youth Forum in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports, which aims to exchange experiences in the field of volunteering between Arab and African youth, provide an Arab and African platform to launch new voluntary initiatives, and consolidate bonds of Friendship between Arab and African youth, promoting moderation and coexistence, employing volunteering to serve national tourism, investing volunteering in community development, and enhancing creative volunteering skills among youth.
